Bold ideas, meaningful brands.

I'm a marketing specialist fuelled by bold ideas, meaningful brands and the occasional Amelie-ring adventure. Over four-plus years I've worked with international companies, US-based personal brands, creative agencies, NGOs and local businesses across tech, mobility, consumer goods and entertainment.

I've worn many hats, by choice, so I understand how ideas are sold: as products, services, stories or feelings. Outside the 9–5 I host a career podcast, because I believe work should feel like purpose, not punishment.

The Campaigner. Fitting, for someone who runs campaigns.

My personality type explains a lot about how I work. Here's what it looks like on a brief.

  • Ideas first, then more ideas

Concepting is my favourite part. I bring a pile of directions to every brief, and the strategy to pick the one that will actually land.

  • People are the medium

Influencers, scouts, ambassadors, podcast guests, ministers at a launch. I love a room full of people and I'm good at getting them moving in one direction.

  • Purpose over punishment

Youth, careers, NGOs, donors. I do my best work when the work means something, and I make sure the audience can feel that too.

  • Many hats, by choice

Strategy, copy, casting, events, newsletters, business development. Knowing every seat at the table makes me better at running it.

The receipts.

  • 10K+podcast subscribers in 8–9 months on Afripodcast
  • 6,562Yango app installs at a €0.85 blended eCPI during launch
  • 2.97MFacebook reach for Yango, up 148.5% month on month
  • 20–30Kaverage views per podcast episode, up from about 1–2K
  • 2,064installs from the field promoter program I helped optimize
  • 158K+views and impressions for EDTF in eight weeks, mostly from new audiences

How a campaign happens.

The same four moves, whether it's a billboard in Addis or a newsletter going out to a US audience.

  1. 1

    Discovery & research

Who's the audience, what do they already believe, and where does the brand fit into their day?

  2. 2

    Strategy & concept

One clear idea, the channels it lives on (above, below or through the line) and the voice it speaks in.

  3. 3

    Execution & management

Briefs, casting, vendors, influencers, scouts, launch day. I'm on the ground making it real.

  4. 4

    Reporting & growth

What worked, what didn't, and what we do next time. Numbers in, sharper campaign out.
